This session will update school counselors and career specialists on critical SCDE initiatives. Participants will receive updates on policies, procedures, and best practices for those involved with school counseling, career development, and supervision of school counseling personnel. Important deadlines for the 2024-25 academic year will be presented as well as any potential legislative changes.

Anna Duvall is the School Counselor and Career Specialist Liaison for the South Carolina Department of Education. She also serves as the Student Transition Services team lead in the Office of Career and Technical Education and Student Transition Services.
