Automotive collision instructors will develop a rubric for their classroom around a Personal Repair Panel. This panel along with the rubric will enable better grading outcomes for students. Instructors will write rubrics and fabricate a Personal Repair Panel to take back to their classroom to become a part of students training.

This presentation will address components of the new Electric Vehicle curriculum that was developed through a grant award that Clemson University received and in partnership with Greenville Technical College, Spartanburg Community College, and Trident Technical College who has piloted the curriculum for the last three years. This presentation will show what future EV technicians will be exposed to when repairing Electric Vehicles, such as Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Reality (AR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the automotive industry.

This training event provides an overview of hybrid and electric vehicle designs, operation, and servicing. Diagnosing and servicing Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) requires an in-depth understanding of their design and operation. This training covers the operation of HEV and BEV propulsion systems, driveline configurations, high voltage batteries, drive motors/ generators, and charging systems.

230 Having Fun Teaching Automotive Electricity
This session will give automotive teachers new insight in teaching automotive electricity and electronics. Because of the project students find themselves learning difficult tasks because they are enjoying the learning experience.
This Electric Scooter project teaches students the fundamentals of using DMM for voltage drops, motor controls, battery voltage circuits (series and parallel), speed controls, and OHM's Law. Students will also use skills in soldering, determining gear ratios, and understand how different types of switches operate.

219 Success Story: Life after high school--How educators and industry came together to creating a workforce pipeline
This Volvo Accelerator program is an example of one of the creative ways that Volvo plans to engage the workforce pipeline. Our why:
A program to match our needs did not exist. We did not have the resources or time to utilize existing programs and those programs did not meet the specific need.
We focused on establishing strategic relationships with partner HSs in the Lowcountry and create a mutually beneficial program for both schools and industry.
