As of 2019, a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) is an industry-recognized credential for Health Science completers. 26 BioTechBuilder: School to Work Curriculum to Expand the Bioeconomy
For the last dozen years, BioBuilder has offered problem-based learning modules that help high school students design, build, and test novel biotechnologies. We've seen how this can spark a love for life science and open opportunities to pursue science in college and as a career. The curriculum originated in MIT's Department of Biological Engineering and has been adopted in 49 states and more than 30 countries. Come learn more about how BioTechBuilder directly connects skills-based life science training and credentialing to provide students with a recognizable certification of their mastery of fundamental lab techniques. This "Biotech in a Box" option is especially relevant for schools that serve students eager to go directly into the life science, ag science, or healthcare working world once they graduate.
