Come explore the new half-credit Personal Finance course standard, Understanding Taxes. Take a deep dive into key indicators, including basic tax terminology, the purpose and types of taxes, computing taxes, analyzing tax forms, evaluating how taxes impact disposable income, computing gross earnings, payroll deductions, net pay, and filling out an individual income tax return form. Lesson plans and best practices and lots of no-cost resources will be shared.
