27 Michelin: Building the Workforce One Student at a Time

Join us as representatives of Michelin US 5 and US 7 in Lexington, South Carolina share their "high school to work" program including how they work with high school students in the Midlands by highlighting their facility with special programming and career offerings directly after high school graduation to interested students. Michelin encourages other businesses to replicate the program in their respective areas. This session will be beneficial to all parties involved in creating career connections.

Come learn about JA's new Finance Park Mobile unit that will be popping up all over the state to give SC high school students an understanding of life and work in the adult world. Use this field trip experience to enhance the personal finance skills you are teaching. In addition, learn about JA's semester-long Personal Finance Course that meets all the state-required standards for the .5 credit mandate.
