The need for soft skills in today’s workplace continues to increase even as the use of technology increases. Foundational employability (technical) skills are equally important. By earning an Essential Soft Skills Credential and a Work Ready Credential (National Work Readiness Council), students can validate mastery of their career readiness skills and add to their portfolio of industry-specific credentials. In this session, we will review the skills validated by the credentials, the connection to O*NET’s Job Zones, and how students can use courseware to build their workplace skills.
