Often, we struggle to keep students interested in ServSafe for a full six weeks. In this practical session, you will learn how to make the ServSafe training in your class easier to understand and aim for a greater passing percentage. Teachers will employ visual organizers and ServSafe instructional resources in a one-to-one classroom setting.
A new CTSO program, High School BBQ League, can benefit students across numerous curriculums, bolster cross-curricular instruction, provide student interaction, and encourage a growth mindset by getting students from different backgrounds to work together to enhance diversity and school culture. Learn what the High School BBQ League is about, some of the aspects of competition, and discuss future growth and profits of a program that can be started with minimal expense and grow exponentially.

There will be an opportunity for participants to obtain their ServSafe Manager Certification. Participants will need their laptop for instruction and examination. Participants will be provided with a ServSafe Manger 7th edition textbook and one online exam voucher once registered. We will need tables and chairs for instructional time.This is a two- to three-part meeting.
