125 The EEDA Ball of Yarn: Funding & Further
Monday June 24, 2024 1:15pm - 2:15pm EDT
This session will provide an overview of the many different parts of the Personal Pathways to Success Initiative, which birthed the Education & Economic Development Act (legislation that includes: the Preparing College- & Career-Ready Graduates Grant, Career Specialist Funding, High Schools That Work, IGPs, Career Cluster-centered Programs of Study, Regional Education Centers, Career Cluster Partnership Grant) and how districts/schools can use the multiple parts in tandem to support students. While exploring the possibilities, we will share activities/initiatives that districts/schools are already implementing and how utilizing all of the moving pieces together will allow school districts to shore up support and use the multiple funding items together.
