I am Wylondria Jefferson, Workforce Outreach Coordinator in the Labor Market Information Division at the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce. I have been employed at LMI since May 2022 after working for the Office of Economic Opportunity for one and a half years, and Benedict College for 22 years. I am originally from Timmonsville, South Carolina, but now live in Columbia, South Carolina. I have earned my bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development with a Certificate in Child Protective Services from Benedict College, a Master of Art in Organizational Management from Phoenix University, and a Master of Art in Education with a concentration in Family and Community Services from Ashford University. My experience and education have molded me into a hardworking, caring, and passionate person who wants to give back and help in any way possible to improve individuals, their choices, and the world.

I enjoy volunteering in various capacities (to enhance my knowledge in different areas and networks), brick masonry, watching television, dancing, sports, spending time with family, and helping my daughter with her businesses.
